We want to create one process in Signavio Workflow Accelerator and after we publish it we want to continue developing it. But when the process is in live usage I couldn't find any option to have different statuses for one process. One for live what will be used in production and the second status with my new changes what I can pre-publish and test without changing my already publish version. How can I do it?
We can only work with copies of existing processes to develop them. The Best practice would be to create a copy after a verified state for a process and continue your development within the copy. You could add labels to see the difference between dev and prod process on one organization in the overview and use filters too.
I've added you some more details regarding the resources for Labels:
Copying and deleting processes:
Regarding deleting copies please keep in mind:
In Signavio Workflow Accelerator, you cannot currently delete individual cases, which you might want to do if you have created test cases while developing the process. However, you can use Create a copy and Delete process to duplicate a process and then delete the original. This deletes all of the cases with the original process, and leaves a copy with no cases.
This means, if you are going to make the dev process to prod you are not able to keep the whole history from the old prod process and it will be deleted. If you want to keep it you have to copy all changes out of the dev process to the prod process and publish it again.
Additional I've informed our product management and ask if Signavio plans some improvement to cover the requested scenario in the future.
