3161103 - More information needed on new Share an investigation with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence users functionality

Need to get better understanding of this new functionality introduced as part of the PI October 6 release:
We’ve added visibility options to investigations. By default, any investigation you create is only visible to you. You can decide with which SAP Signavio Process Intelligence user to share your investigation. Visibility options are only available for new investigations. Read how to switch the visibility of investigations in this section.

What is the rationale/benefits for implementing this?
Can you provide examples/scenarios of when this would be used.

Regarding the visibility options added to Investigations, it has been introduced to have more control on what Investigations are visible & editable but other PI users. For example, you can leave draft Investigations as Private so they are not visible to any other user until they are ready to be shared at which time you can change the visibility.

Another characteristic that is a consequence of this feature is that Copy Widget ID is greyed out/disabled for Investigations that are Private.
