3161143 - Assigning Commenting Licenses in SAP Signavio Process Manager

Symptom

How are Commenting licenses created and assigned? For example, when an invitation to comment is sent.

Resolution

Users can be invited to review and comment on the diagrams with a "Commenting license". This functionality allows a large number of contributors involved who don’t need to be modeling experts or familiar with Signavio’s software, but rather people with an understanding of the business processes, and are in fact, not registered users in the workspace.

  1. You can invite anybody via email to comment on your diagrams, through opening the diagram you want to share. In the editor's toolbar, you would click “Share.” The dialog “Share for feedback” opens, and you can then enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite, finally clicking “Send.”

  2. Alternatively, you can accomplish this process by selecting the diagram(s) you want to share from the Explorer. Then you would click “Share,” then you would click “Invite anyone for feedback” in the menu bar. The dialog that allows you to invite commentators opens. If you didn't select a diagram in step one, you will reach the selection page first. Select one or multiple diagrams. You can go back to this page any time by clicking “Choose diagrams.” Then, you can type in the email addresses of all colleagues you want to invite. Multiple entries can be separated by commas, semicolons, or line breaks.
