3161387 - Workspace Email Domain Change request

Symptom

Our company is looking to change the email domains of our entire workspace user base. We access Signavio via SSO, and use a workflow pool for managing Workflow licenses.


Resolution

Please update the users' email address within your SSO IDP to reflect the new domain. When the user logs into Signavio next time, their profile email address will update automatically in SPM and SWA. To outline how user change is reflected in Signavio:

1. If the email-address stays the same and "only" the NameID is different, the NameID in our backend (externalUserReport) will be updated

2. If the NameID stays the same and "only" the email-address is different, the email in our backend (externalUserReport) and the Modeler email will be updated

3. If both are different, a new user will be created.

The email address will be automatically updated if it satisfies the 2nd requirement above.
