3164080 - SAP BTP Android SDK OAuth Authentication fails with "invalid code_challenge_method"

Symptom

Customer using OAuth Authentication with their corporate identity provider. This was working fine, but since 11.3.2022 when they try to register a new device, they get the error "invalid code_challenge_method" and the registration fails.  In their http request, they see the error parameter code_chalenge_method=S256.
