3164236 - Stock Mismatch In Product Planning view and Stock Overview

You want to release the customer demand however system displays displays red ATP as stock is not available.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Outbound Logistics Control workcenter.
2. Go to Customer Demand view.
3. Find the required Order ID and Choose Release.
4. The system throws an error as stock is not available.
5. Select the Order ID and choose option: Open Product Planning Details.
6. Here in planning view, the system displays available stock as zero (0).

1. Now, go to the Outbound Logistics Control workcenter.
2. Go to Common Tasks view and open Stock Overview.
3. Enter the relevant Product ID, here you find that system has On-Hand stock available in Logistics Area: XYZ ( i.e. XYZ is a logistics area ID)

Since the Logistics Use for logistics area: XYZ is maintained as "Not Relevant for Planning", the system is not considering the On-Hand stock in the planning view.

Therefore the stock is not available for execution.

1.  Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
2.  Go to Locations view and enter required Site ID.
3.  Select and choose Edit Layout.
4.  Here find the logistics area: XYZ under the hierarchy.
5.  Select it and check Details section: General tab 
6.  Under Logistics Use, remove the usage as "Not Relevant for Planning".
7.  Perform Save and activate the hierarchy.
8.  Once it is done, On-hand stock will be available to use in the Planning view as well.
