3164359 - Approval Tasks Not Shown in the Open Tasks Tile of Launchpad


You have some tasks for approval in the Managing My Area work center, but notice that they are not coming up in the Open Tasks tile of the Launchpad.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Managing My Area work center.
  2. Access the Approvals work center view.
  3. You can see there are some tasks waiting for your approval.
  4. Now, go to the Home work center.
  5. Access the Launchpad work center view.
  6. The Open Tasks tile shows zero tasks.


The Open Tasks tile is related to Work Inbox tasks, such as found in the Home > Work view.


For a tile related to the Approval tasks within the Managing My Area work center, please use the Personalization mode as follows:

  1. Click the user icon at the top-righ corner of the screen
  2. Select Start Personalization Mode
  3. Click the Add Tile (+ icon) button


  1. Select the Managing My Area work center in the left-hand column and click the Add button for the Managing My Area - Approvals tile


  1. Click Apply
  2. Finally, click Save in the Personalization menu to complete the change
