3165745 - Cannot find some released CDS view from the app Custom CDS View

Symptom

When trying to creating a CDS from the fiori app Custom CDS View, some released CDS could not be found from the search result of the primary data source

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Fiori app "Custom CDS View"
  2. Create a CDS and select the scenario: Analytical Cube
  3. Search a released CDS view, but it doesn't exist
  4. If we Create a CDS and select other scenario type, this CDS can be selected as the primary data source

Cause

When creating a CDS with the Scenario: Analytical Cube, the dimension CDS View will not be displayed in the list for the primary data source as dimension CDS View cannot be the primary data source for the Analytical Cube CDS.

Resolution

Creating other type CDS View and select it as Primary data source, or select other data source as the Primary data source and select the dimension view as the Associated data source
