3165748 - CSV files corrupted when downloaded from AskHR ticket's: "[object Blob]"

Symptom

You have downloaded a file from an AskHR ticket, and when opening the file, the following message replaced the original content of the file:

"[object Blob]"

However if you download the file from C4C, it will open with the original content correctly.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
    • Employee Central Service Center AskHR

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Download any CSV file from an AskHR ticket
  2. Open the file
  3. The following message is displayed "[object Blob]".

Resolution

This is under investigation by the engineering team. So far, there is not a specific date or release for a fix to be deployed.

The workaround for this issue is to zip the CSV file and upload in the ticket and while downloading the CSV file is working fine.
