3166812 - Error: Schema "schema name" does not exist when bulk loading Redshift - Data Services

Symptom

  • S3 bulk loader option erroring out while loading data into Redshift
  • Schema name in Redshift doesn't match the Redshift user name.
  • Error - DBS-070404: |Data flow |Loader
    SQL submitted to ODBC data source <Amazon Redhisft> resulted in error <[Amazon][Amazon Redshift] (30) Error occurred
    while trying to execute a query: [SQLState 3F000] ERROR:  schema "schema name" does not exist
    >. The SQL submitted is <copy <schema_name>.<table_Name from
    's3:bucketlocation' credentials <aws-auth-args> delimiter
    '/127'  region 'region'; >.
  • Regular load works, bulk loading fails.
