3167173 - Setting Up Point-to-Point Integration with Client Certificate-based Authentication

As of Release H2 2022 (and partially with H1 2022), you can configure the Point-to-Point replication (from Employee Central to Employee Central Payroll) to work with SSL certificates (X.509 certificates). To assist with this process, the point-to-point configuration report (transaction HRSFEC_PTP_CONFIG) has been enhanced with a new option. The certificates are pushed automatically into the Employee Central Payroll system and can be imported manually into Employee Central.

IMPORTANT: the Basic Authentication option was deprecated on 2H 2020, reached its End Of Maintenance on 2H 2023 and will be finally deleted on Q4 2026. The Basic Authentication will be fully replace by the Client Certificate-based option after its deletion on Q4 2026.
