3167872 - An Employee has referred a Candidate but the Referral is not showing as associated to Refer - Recruiting Management

An internal employee has referred an External Candidate, e-mail was triggered but the Referral doesn't show as associated to Employee: 

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Even though an e-mail was triggered to notify the Candidate system found an internal exception while finishing the Referral and it was not completed. In Data Base level, the table responsible for updating the Employee Referral was not updated successfully and this is why we don't see any association, neither by generating Reports. 

Engineering has identified the issue and a code fix was addressed to avoid this exception to happen. The internal JIRA that can be used to track it is RCM-105375.

Until the code fix is completed, if the problem is identified in your environment, please open a Ticket to SAP Support by referring to this KBA and provide all information about the affected Employee, Candidate and Referral.
