You notice that certain actions performed in the Opportunity or Activities work centre views do not appear or reflect in the Guided Selling view until a few seconds later.

Reproducing the Issue

The same behviour is true for several actions in the system.


  1. Create a new opportunity in the Sales work centre, Opportunities view. Go to the Guided Selling view. The opportunity will only show after a few seconds or after a refresh. It does not appear in real-time.
  2. For an existing opportunity, make a change within the Sales work centre, Opportunities view > Opportunity TI. For example, change the status. Again, the status change will not be reflected to the Guided selling view in real time, but with a few seconds delay.


This is the expected system behaviour.


The Sync between Opp and GS views happens after some time, a few seconds, a refresh on the GS view can help.

If any changes are made in the regular C4C screens (either for opportunity or activity) then it takes a few seconds to synch to the Guided Selling view.

So for example when you set an object status to completed, or create a new object as in the described use-case here, it takes few seconds for data to synch to Guided Selling
