3168178 - SSO issue in SAP Analytics Cloud using Okta

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) cannot be configured for SSO using the custom identity provider (IdP) Okta.
• When the customer tries to verify the account, it does not accept the credentials.
• After it does not accept the credentials that the login page repeatedly asks for credentials (username / password).

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)
• Custom IdP with Okta

1.  Log into system.
2.  Navigate to metadata SSO.
3.  Verify (get temporary URL).
4.  Paste URL into browser using incognito / private mode and observe it asks for credentials and redirect occurs.
5.  Wrong URL after successfully logging into the Okta IDP log in screen.

Following URI contains

• https://(Tenant URL)/oauth/token/alias

Shows end point in metadata not redirecting to the correct ACS endpoint which should be:

• https://(Tenant URL)/saml/SSO/alias

Okta IdP administrator corrected the endpoint on the custom IDP configuration:
