3168224 - Copied text does not keep its formatting when pasted into the Notes section of a Visit

Symptom

When pasting copied text into the Notes section of a Visit, its formatting is not applied.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Copy any formatted text
  2. Go to the Visits work centre
  3. Open any visit 
  4. Paste the formatted text in the Notes section
  5. Observe as formatting is not applied.

Cause

It is the current system behavior that when a user copy/pastes formatted text into the Notes editor, the default font is applied.

You can maintain the default font, size etc. in the company settings for the rich text editor.

Resolution

This is the expected system behaviour
