Symptom

Hide compounding object for characteristics in Bex query display. 

The following scenario is one of many:

Characteristics: 0GL_ACCOUNT (Eg: T002)
Compounding object for 0GL_ACCOUNT is 0CHRT_ACCTS (Eg: XX00)

The result displayed in the output is Compounding object/Characteristics (XX00/T002), but the desired output is the characteristics value only (T002).
