3168772 - Remote source through ABAPAdapter failed with error: "Cannot access remote source***" in IBP

Symptom

  • Could not access the Remote source from the  IBP Staging Environment
  • Framework.trc file with the following error
    [ERROR] DPFramework | WorkerThread.processRequest  - com.sap.hana.dp.adapter.sdk.AdapterException: JCo initialization failed with java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: <DPAgent_install>/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/15/0/.cp/libsapjco3.so: <DPAgent_install>/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/15/0/.cp/libsapjco3.so: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied Context: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: JCo initialization failed with java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: <DPAgent_install>/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/15/0/.cp/libsapjco3.so: <DPAgent_install>/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/15/0/.cp/libsapjco3.so: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied
    [ERROR] DPFramework | WorkerThread.processRequest  - com.sap.hana.dp.adapter.sdk.AdapterException: com/sap/conn/jco/rt/JCoRuntimeFactory : cannot initialize class because prior initialization attempt failed Context: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/conn/jco/rt/JCoRuntimeFactory : cannot initialize class because prior initialization attempt failed
  • From framework.trc file, we can see the following information, this means the DP agent has ever started by root user
    2021-01-15 21:18:53,279 [INFO ] DPFramework | Constants.logEnvironmentProperties  - USER=root
