3168824 - Error Message When Saving Org Unit As Child Parent Unit ID

When setting the org unit "DEF" as parent unit ID under "ABC", you receive the error message: "Sales office "ABC" cannot be under sales office "DEF" from DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY."

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to org unit "ABC".
2. On Parent Unit, set "DEF" as Parent Unit ID.
3. Save.
4. Error: "Sales office "ABC" cannot be under sales office "DEF" from DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY."

The message appears because you cannot have two Sales Offices below each other.
Only one Sales Office is allowed in a path of the org tree.

You need to rethink the org structure and e.g make org unit ID "ABC" to a Sales Group (or org unit ID "DEF").
