3168904 - Type "BDLS_SELECTION_PAIRS" is unknown

Symptom

After having applied the correction from SAP Note 2145181 a dump with SYNTAX_ERROR is raised. In the long text of the dump following information can be read:

  • Syntax error in program "SAPLBDLS Type "BDLS_SELECTION_PAIRS" is unknown.
  • There could also be another dump raised as well, related to the report SAPLBDLS. In this second dump, the information looks like:
    The current ABAP program "CL_CMD_APPLLOG================CP" had to be terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    In include "LBDLSU07", in line 281 of program "SAPLBDLS", the following syntax errors have occurred:
    Different number of parameters in FORM and PERFORM (Routine: CREATE_APPL_LOG, number of formal parameters: 3, number of actual parameters: 2).
