3168945 - Deployment failed or URLs returning a 500 Internal Server Error server error response code after a manual restoration

Symptom

Sometimes, after a manual restoration which includes a Database restoration, the deployment will fail or URLs such as backoffice/storefront/API will display a 500 Internal Server Error server error response code

This is because some services are not up and running. Errors like the below can be seen in the log:

  1. Unable to connect to database jdbc:sqlserver://cdifjylpv0-xxxxxxxx-d1-server.database.windows.net:1433;database=cdifjylpv0-xxxxxxxx-d1-db as ufxxxxxxxxwf
  2. Failed to establish JDBC connection. x retries left...
