3169309 - Pie and Donut Chart values don't add up to 100% in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

When using a pie or donut chart with percentage data labels, the totals may not always add up to 100%.  This issue can be more readily noticed when the number of decimal places for the chart is decreased to zero.

1. Create a story with a Pie Chart
2. Enable percentage data lables
3. Note that the total of all the data labels may not add up to 100%

This issue occurs because when the number of decimal places shown is decreased, the accuracy also decreased.   Similarly when the number of decimal places is increased, the accuracy is increased, but results in less succinct data label values.

This is by design.  If you create a Pie/Donut chart with three slices that are intended to be exactly 1/3 - which equals 33.33333...%.  When you use a lower number of decimal places (e.g., 0) the values are all rounded down to 33% and the total appears as 99%.

The expected behavior is to rely on rounding to show the calculated percentages and the App / Story designer needs to consider how important the accuracy of the values shown need to be versus succinctness of the data label values.
