3169318 - Configuration Transport Center error: The target instance you entered is already paired with this instance

When you try to sync two instances using the Transport Center or Instance Sync tool, it gives the error message "The target instance you entered is already paired with this instance", even if the pairing doesn't exist.

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Navigate to Configuration Transport Center > Transport Routes
2. There are no existing transport routes.
3. Click the Add New Pair button
4. Enter in the criteria
5. Click the Generate Token icon
6. You will receive an error message stating: “The target instance you entered is already paired with this instance”

This is a database inconsistency.

Open a ticket under LOD-SF-PLT-CGC and the Support Engineer will engage the responsible team to run a script to delete the corrupted instance pair record.
