3169351 - Cleared Items Are Displayed When Selecting The Status Open items In Manage Supplier/Customer Line Items App


In "Manage Supplier Line Items" app, some items have "Clearing Journal Entry" field updated and cleared journal entry numbers are displayed, but it is still displayed as open items.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open "Manage Supplier Line Items" or "Manage Customer Line Items" app.
  2. Select the filter "Status" of Open Items and enter the filter "Open on Key Date".
  3. You can see some items are displayed as open items, but "Clearing Journal Entry" field has been updated.


You fill the filter "Open on Key Date" with a date when the line item was still open.
In other words, the clearing data of the line item is greater than the date entered in "Open on Key Date".


You can see the "Open Help" of the field "Clearing Status" as below.
It depends on the key date.

If the line item was open at the past key date, but was cleared after that, the clearing journal entry will also be displayed as this is updated in the database.
Therefore, this is a standard behavior of the system.
