Picklist values are not searchable when translation is not maintained for the enabled language.

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Core

Pre-requisite:

Create a picklist "Test" with only default value maintained.

Default locale of the system is Korean (or any language).

Associate the picklist created to a field "XYZ"

In our Example: Phone information HRIS element

Go to any test profile -> Phone information section -> edit 

• Result 1: Click on the drop down of the field "XYZ". All the default values appear while scrolling, though enabled language(Korean in our case) is NOT maintained.
• Result 2: Search a value in the field "XYZ", System says "No Data" in the enabled language, though default values are maintained.

 

 

 

Currently not in scope.

• This is current and legacy behavior i.e. type ahead search works ONLY on User Locale.
•  Please ensure that you have a translation maintained for the enabled locale for picklist values, and then they will be searchable without any issues.
