3171014 - Code Showing Where No Description is Maintained - Title Field

For some fields such as the 'Title' field (Contact/Individual Customer, etc.) a code gets displayed, when no value is maintained in the fine tuning for the logged on language. The same behaviour is similar for other fields where the description is controlled via Fine Tuning in the Business Configuration.

When there is no English description for such fields, including the example 'Title' provided in the Business Configuration (BC) fine-tuning, the code value will be displayed in the UI.

In order to fix this you can logon in another language, for example, and go to BC fine-tuning UI. 
There, select 'Translate' and provide a translation for the description in the required language.

The English description is the fall-back value for other languages. 
If there is no description in any other language and no English description the code value will be shown.
