3171021 - Manage automatic payments: Selection conditions must be no longer than 100 characters

In "Manage automatic payments" app, when entering more than 8 document numbers (BKPF-BELNR) in the free selection, below error appears.

1. Go to "Manage automatic payments" app and create parameter.
2. Select Document numbers (BKPF-BELNR) in the free selection and enter more than 8 individual document numbers.

Standard design:

• This limitation of the Fiori application Manage Automatic Payments comes from the backward compatibility with the transaction F110.
• Transaction F110 offers 4 free selection fields, each of them contains 2 rows of values with up to 50 characters (therefore you can use all four selections and select up to 32 documents). This is the reason why free Selection field in "Manage automatic payments" is limited to 100 characters (2 rows x 50 chars from the F110).

1. Documents should be primarily selected by company code, document entry date and account number. With free selection you can specify more precisely which parameters should be included or excluded. This combination of selection criteria should offer sufficient granularity to select documents according to business requirements.
2. You can also use intervals instead of selecting exact document numbers. Also, you can combine different types of free selections, for example: assignment number, posting date, document date, document type, currency etc.
