3171033 - Work Anniversary notification sent for the wrong date

A manager received a work anniversary for a team member on the wrong date/month.

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

• With the Latest Homepage the Work Anniversary notification from the Standard Element Hire Date or Service Date (if used/enabled)
• It does take the Anniversary from the Employee Central > Employment Information > Hire Date or Service Date (if used/enabled)
• Even though the Hire Date in Employee Central is automatically hardcoded to be HRIS sync'd to the standard element Hire Date there can be cases where the dates are not sync'd correctly

Example:

• In EC > Employment Information - the Hire Date could be correct as September 1st
• But if you do an employee export to check the Standard Element > Hire Date - you may see it as January 9th in the format of MM/DD/YYYY (01/09/YYYY)

**Note: To confirm the date format you are seeing in the employee export just check a users with a Hire date where the DD is 13 or greater

This may have happened due to an incorrect sync of data in the past or incorrect employee import in the past.

To resolve:

1. You can manually correct the Hire Date in the UDF (employee export) and import that correction (this will correct any users you are aware of and manually update)

2. You can run a full HRIS Sync to sync the correct date from EC to the the Standard Element Hire Date (this will correct any user where the Hire Date in EC is correct but wrong in the UDF)

• This must be a full HRIS sync
• The daily HRIS sync will not work, as it is already running and only syncing new data

**Note: For help with running a full HRIS sync please reach out to your Partner or Employee Central support. It would be recommended to run the full HRIS sync with a start date of 01/01/1900 to ensure all changes are covered and it might be best to run/schedule the HRIS sync outside peak business hours
