3174113 - Split Accounting values not defaulting from the ERP Commodity to Commodity Mapping or User profile when using Requisition Import

Split Accounting values not defaulting from the ERP Commodity to Commodity Mapping (Commodity Export Map Entry, also known as CEME (commodity export map entry)) or User profile accounting when using Requisition Import (web service). The split accounting fields were showing as (no value) or as the specific accounting field value that was sent in the request in the requisition line item in the Ariba application.

The following use cases and behavior occurred:

• In the case where there was no value for commodity code/partitioned commodity code and no value for child accounting elements sent in the ImportedAccountingsStaging element in the Requisition SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) request XML (eXtensible Markup Language): 
  • No CEME record was set for the line item (value was null) and no accounting information was set for the accounting fields in the line item of the requisition. The expectation was that the accounting information at the line item would be set from the user profile.
• In the case where there was only a value for commodity code/partitioned commodity code sent and no value for child accounting elements sent in the ImportedAccountingsStaging element in the Requisition SOAP request XML.
  • The CEME record was set for the line item, but no accounting information was set for the accounting fields in the line item of the requisition. The expectation was that the accounting information at the line item would be set from the CEME.

• In the case where there was no value for commodity code/partitioned commodity code sent and no value for child accounting elements sent in the ImportedAccountingsStaging element, but the item information (SupplierPartNumber) matched a catalog item in the site that was linked to a commodity code that was linked to a valid CEME record in the Requisition SOAP request XML.
  • The CEME record was set for the line item, but no accounting information was set for the accounting fields in the line item of the requisition. The expectation was that the accounting information at the line item would be set from the CEME.
