3181582 - Unable to Download all Workflow Rules when Exporting to Excel

You are trying to export workflow rules but you notice that all the rules are not downloaded as expected.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Administrator workcentre
2. Go to Workflow Rules view
3. From the Filter, select Active
4. Select Export rules
5. A popup will show, prompting for file name and path for save.
6. Success message is displayed once the file is downloaded.
7. A Multi Tab excel sheet is downloaded having all the information on the workflow Rules

Here you will see that not all the workflow rules are downloaded

 

As of the current system behavior the number of records that can be downloaded is restricted to 200 even if there are more active rules  and inactive rules will not be available for download.

You can use parameters from advanced search and filter by business object to narrow the search results and download, or you can select entries page by page by navigating in OWL and export
Alternatively, you can query through via odata to get all records using the url https://<Your tenant URL>/sap/c4c/odata/v1/workflowrule/$metadata, where tenant url is of format myxxxxxx.crm.ondemand.com
