Symptom
- The message, "Current process infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)", may be reported as below in the SAP ASE error log when a client is inserting a row into a partitioned table and another client is running alter table drop partition command on the same table at the same time.
The infected user task held the Pdes Chain Spinlock, so ASE automatically shuts down.
