After enabling the dictionary categories integration between SPM and SPG, on the SPG side, every sub-category and parent-category will be recognized as a standalone category.
The parent-category/sub-categories relationships won't be synchronized. It is not possible to define a Field to select the items for both parent-category/sub-category.
