3182577 - Error: "On premise connectivity failed with HTTP 503" showing intermittently for import job schedules in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & SAP Digital Boardroom

The following behavior occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• Import job schedules are failing randomly with the below error: "On-premise connectivity failed with HTTP 503 " 

• Sap Analytics Cloud (Entreprise)
• Import data connection

1. Login into the SAC  tenant.
2. Navigate to any model based on an import connection.
3. Go to "Data Management Workspace".
4. Under the "Import Jobs" Section, select the imported job query and click the "Schedule settings" button to choose a specific time for the data import, then Save the changes.
5. The import job is sometimes failing with the error: "On premise connectivity failed with HTTP 503".
   
   

The error can be caused by:

• Outdated Cloud Agent
• Too many jobs scheduled at the same time slot

• Update the Cloud Agent to the latest available
• Reschedule jobs to run off the hour, and at staggered intervals, the problem should be resolved. For example, have them updated not at 7 am, but at 05:25, 05:55, 06:25 etc.
