3182585 - Copy function in Maintain E-mail Templates app is not available in Production System

Symptom

Copy button is greyed out in Maintain E-mail Templates app in a S/4HANA Cloud Production System

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to Maintain E-mail Templates app

2. Select an e-mail template

3. "Copy" button is greyed out

Cause

E-mail templates are development objects and falling under the category of extensibility. Extensibility functions are not available in production environments.

Resolution

Extensions should be made in the corresponding test system and transported to production. That said, you will need to create the required form templates in the test system using the Maintain Form Templates app and then transport them to the productive system using the Export Software Collection app.
