3186208 - Function limitation of field ‘Is Subcontractor’ in Guided Buying when creating purchase requisition

Businesses in some regions, such as in Japan subcontractor is a legal matter, are required to categorize their suppliers as subcontractors to ensure timely invoicing of the orders placed with such suppliers. SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing provides the capability to set a field that indicates whether a supplier is a subcontractor when creating a purchase requisition (PR) with selecting a supplier for a line item, the subcontractor field shows the value from the supplier master data.

Compared to the capability of replicating subcontractor field value from the supplier master data in SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Field 'Is Subcontractor' is not populated correctly in Guided Buying, the field is not showing the correct value because the Is Subcontractor field defaulted to Unspecified instead of Yes.
