3188688 - PR with more than 99 account assignment splits fails on ERP or S/4 HANA

Symptom

When a Purchase Requisition (PR) is sent from Ariba Buying & Invoicing (P2P) to ERP or S/4 HANA via SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network with more than 99 account assignment splits the following error is triggered in CIG:

org.apache.cxf.binding.soap.SoapFault: Web service processing error; more details in the web service error log on provider side

And below error is found in ERP or S/4 HANA in transaction SRT_LOG:

Data loss occurred when converting 100
