3189241 - Role-Based Permissions- Restrict the Usage of Roles and Groups in Role-Based Permissions

This KB article explains the Restrict Usage of Roles and Groups in Role-Based Permissions 
This new feature allows us to mark sensitive permission groups and permission roles as RBP-only to prevent them from being reused outside of Role-Based Permissions as an RBP administrator.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Prerequisites :
User should be an admin and have admin center access

If the permission roles or permission groups are not set to be RBP-only, they can be used in the configuration of other SAP SuccessFactors modules. In the first half of 2022, the permission roles and permission groups can be used in the configuration of the latest home page. This enhancement is available in both the legacy Role-Based Permissions and the latest Role-Based Permissions.

"RBP-only" indicates that the role is only accessible for RBP admin for permissions- related features. Other features such as home page can’t reuse this role.

A) Manage Permission Groups: You can edit, copy, delete static or dynamic permission groups. You can mark a permission group as RBP-only. For dynamic groups, you can also view the group's change history.

Login to Instance- > Admin Center ->  Manage Permission Groups -> Check for the new feature "RBP Only "

B) Manage Permission Roles: You can edit, copy, or delete a permission role, view a summary of a permission role and view its change history. You can also mark a permission role as RBP-only.
