• Two Business Partners are created for each workforce person in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
• For internal workers, one Business Partner number is assigned the Employee role (BUP003), while another is assigned the Employment role (BUP010).
• For contingent workers, one Business Partner number is assigned the Service Performer role (BBP005), while another is assigned the External Employment role (BUP011). 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Manage Workforce app or open any of the Business Partner app
2. Search with Worker ID or workforce person name
3. Notice there are multiple business partner number associated with this workforce person

New Business Partner Model was introduced from SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition version 2011 onwards.

The term workforce person in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is used to refer to employee and contingent worker and describes the essential personal and employment information of an underlying natural person. Each workforce person and the underlying work assignments are represented by various business partners, each with a specific role. 

For Internal Employee:

• To represent an internal workforce person or employee, one BP instance with the Employee role (BUP003) is created. Employee BP contains private address of current main work assignment.
• For each work assignment for an employee, a separate BP with the Employment role (BUP010) is created. Employment BP contains private address related to the corresponding work assignment. Bank data is stored on the employment BP. If bank data is supplied as part of the replication payload, the Supplier (FLVN00) role is added to employment BP automatically.

For Contingent Worker:

• To represent an external employee or contingent worker, one BP instance with the Service Performer role (BBP005) is created.
• Each work assignment of a service performer is represented by a BP with the External Employment role (BUP011).
