3189656 - Dummy Advanced Condition to Onboarding Panel field - Onboarding 1.0

Symptom

Creation of a dummy Advanced Condition in order to check as "No" a checkbox in a form related to a Panel in a hidden field.

Example: Customer need to have a "Yes" or "No" checkbox automatically checked as "No" in a form of the onboarding process.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

Resolution

A workaround to make the advanced condition be automatically checked is:

  1. Go to the Panel reflecting the form.
  2. Open the advanced condition in the field related to the panel.
  3. In the advanced condition menu, search for the field 'Age'.
  4. In the operator, select "Equal".
  5. In the condition value type "Dummy" (or anything that will not be related to the designated field).

Hidden field have a dependency based on another key, the condition "Age" is the best condition because it will not have any match any word typed in the Condition Value field.
