As part of H1 2022 release, you can now anonymize sensitive Job Application data that was missed during initial anonymization.

While creating an anonymize request for inactive Job Applications from the Data Retention Management tool, you now have a new option  Selected Job Applications, which anonymizes the sensitive data missed during initial anonymization.

This feature is applicable for both Data Retention Time Management (DRTM) and Data Retention Management (Legacy DRM) purge request types for inactive job applications. You can use this feature from the following scenarios:

• Set a field in the job application template to anonymize="true" from anonymize="false" after the job applications have been anonymized.
• Change your configuration for Deletion of Correspondence under Admin Center  Manage Recruiting Settings.

Procedure:

1. Admin Center > Data Retention Management
2. Select the following options for the purge request:
   
   • DRTM Inactive Job Application Purge
   • Purge inactive Job applications (Legacy)
3. Select Selected Job Applications job type
   
   
4. Upload a CSV file with the list of Job Application IDs that have been anonymized and you want to re-run the anonymization
5. Enter the approver name

NOTES:

• When you create a purge request using the Selected Job Applications option, you can only launch it immediately. You cannot save or schedule the purge request to run at a later time.
• Ensure that the import file has fewer than 10,000 records.
• You cannot run this anonymization request for an active Job Application (non-anonymized Job Application). If your CSV file contains job application IDs that weren't anonymized earlier, those records won't be considered in the request.
• If there's no Job Application to be considered, the Request will be automatically completed with the status "Completed with an empty report".
