3190756 - Not Able to Post a Journal Entry Voucher Due to Error: ‘500 SAP Internal Server Error’

You are trying to post a Journal Entry Voucher document but is receiving the error message ‘500 SAP Internal Server Error’.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to General Ledger work center.
2. Go to Journal Entry Vouchers subview.
3. Select the option Not Posted Journal Entry Vouchers.
4. Search for Journal Entry Voucher ID XYZ (XYZ represents the Journal Entry Voucher ID).
5. Click Edit.
6. Click Post .
7. You will see the error message:

One possible reason for such issue is that when the G/L account or account assignment on one of the lines has been changed, the roundtrip doesn't trigger, so there is an unexpected sub-ledger account line-item type.

Remove the line and add it again.

If the G/L Account is required to be changed on a line, the recommendation is to add a new line fresh for this G/L Account instead of modifying what's there already.
