Symptom

You notice high and frequent lock wait times in on the table /SCWM/LAGP originating from Function Group /SCWM/HU_TO_UPD and from the statement SELECT SINGLE * FROM /SCWM/LAGP FOR UPDATE.

This occurs for storage bins that are updated frequently, both during warehouse task creation and confirmation.
This can lead to all the update work processes being occupied, and can lead to system down situations.
