Symptom

There is no option to disable write-back/planning when executing a planning model in SAC add-in for Office, like the option "Planning Enabled" available when creating a Story in SAC client.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Microsoft Office

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Execute a Planning Model in SAC Add-in for Office;
  2. Confirm it is not possible to disable the write-back/planning in order to change the model to read-only.

Cause

This is not a bug in the tool. This feature is not available.

Resolution

Refer to SAP Note 3079294 ("Enhancement Request for SAC, add-in for MS Office") in order to request a feature/enhancement in the tool or vote for existing requests.
