3191258 - Data Volume Size is slightly bigger than Disk Size in DBACOCKPIT

Symptom

  • You recognize that the DBACOCKPIT shows that the actual Data Volume Size is slightly bigger than Disk Size and also the scale shows full (red).
  • The assumption is that the following statement is generally true: "Data Volume Size cannot be bigger than Disk Size".
  • Despite of the statement you see the following in SAP GUI:

    TRCODE: DBACOCKPIT  - - > Overview - - > Database Disk Usage - - > Data Volume Size/Disk Size
