3191346 - Error: Received fatal alert: unrecogized_name, -813 when connecting to SAP HANA On-Premises via DP agent configuration tool

Symptom

  • Unable to connect to Hana Database from DP agent configuration tool.
  • DP agent is able to connect to Hana Database server and port successfully.
  • There is no SSL configured between Hana Database and DP agent.
  • Receive the following error in the DP agent configuration tool.
    • [ERROR] SocketConnector.read - Failed to connect to server SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:sap://<hostname>:<port> [Cannot connect to host <hostname>:<port>][Received fatal alert: unrecogized_name], -813.].
    • [ERROR] AgentConnection.submitRequest - Request Failed for ADMIN_SET_CONFIG_PROPERTIES Context: Failed to connect to server SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:sap://<hostname>:<port> [Cannot connect to host <hostname>:<port>][Received fatal alert: unrecogized_name], -813.].
    • Failed to connect to SAP HANA server.
    • Ensure that the specified hostname and port are valid.
