3191459 - Blank Error when saving income tax declaration

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to the Income Tax Portlet of the affected user
2. Click on Add Declarations
3. Fill in the mandatory details > Save
4. Blank error occurs

s1[0]="\{0\} is a required field/association in Object \{1\}.";

This error means there is a problem with the attachment field on the It Declaration Object.

As such, attachment field is supported only for 'Actuals' submissions so making it as a mandatory field on the It Declaration Object will cause such issues when submitting 'Proposals'.

To resolve this, you need to set the attachment field as Required > 'No' on the It Declaration Object. It would continue to show on actuals but not on proposal screen.
