3191701 - PARCONV_UPG: Index <index_name> already exists in the database

Symptom

While performing an upgrade, SUM stops at phase MAIN_NEWBAS/PARCONV_UPG with the following error:
...
2EEDA128 Index "table_example~index_example" already exists in the database
A2EEDD_DD2DBAL 002 Could not create index "index_example" of table "table_example"
2EEGT082 "Index" "table_example-index_example" could not be created
2 EGT067 Request for "table_example" could not be executed
...

Observation: "table_example" and "index_example" from above error messages are just examples to illustrate a similar scenario.
