3191742 - Manage Pending Hire Prevention and Enhancement - Recruiting Management (1H 2022)

This KBA provides information about the enhancement of the Manage Pending Hires feature.

With the B2205 release, the product has been enhanced to prevent issues with the Manage Pending Hire feature. The system will show an error on the Application page in case there are misconfigurations in place, whenever a candidate is placed in a hireable status and you click on save.

• In case there is more than one status configured as Hireable in "Edit Applicant Status Configuration", the system will generate an error on the Application page in case, explaining the reason (more than one status configured as Hireable) and which statuses are configured as Hireable.
• In case there is no approved Offer for that candidate, the system will generate an error explaining that there is no approved Offer. Message: "You can't hire this applicant because the offer isn't approved yet."
• In case the transformation template is missing from Provisioning, a message will display: "The Candidate to Employee integration template isn't configured for your instance. Contact your implementation partner for assistance."

NOTE: For the transformation template message, the scenario where RCM-OBD-EC is in place the transformation template is not required as the data is sent to Employee Central through Onboarding. The system will still validate if the transformation template is required, not validating whether RCM-OBD-EC is the flow for the job requisition, so the message will still be displayed. This has already been relayed to Engineering, and they are working to improve this tool for future releases (internal task number: RCM-108254).
