Symptom
User has an installation server to distribute SAPGUI to client PCs, they enabled SAP Automatic Workstation Update function, and keep having multiple prompts to SAP Software Update "Do you wish to update the SAP products installed on your computer?" even after successful updated SAPGUI patch and restarted the computer.
User wonders how to stop the multiple update prompts?
In SAPGUI installation log(e.g. the NwSapAutoWorkstationUpdateService_**.log file), we see the error as below:
16:46:02.689 NwSapsAtlC 1 Component Update required for '$SapStartExe': 900.150 (Server), 900.110 (Workstation)
or
13:21:25.636 NwSapsEngn 1 Component Update required for '$SapStartExe': 900.150 (Server), 900.140 (Workstation)
