3192498 - How check if Solr indexing was executed and what index was updated - SAP Commerce Cloud

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Very often while working with Solr you need to check whether the indexation took place, which index was updated and what time exactly it happened.

Some of the information could be taken out of log files from the pod in which the indexation job was performed (either backoffice or backgroundprocessing), but for example, checking if the indexing was done on flip or flop index (for Two-phase mode) would be more complex (involves checking the current active index in database).
