3192899 - Material Cost Estimates - Cost Breakdown (G/L Account Origin) not Displaying Results

You run the report Material Cost Estimates - Cost Breakdown (G/L Account Origin) (Report ID: FININVU12_Q0002) and no results appear.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Analytics work center.
2. Select the view Design Reports.
3. Search and find Material Cost Estimates - Cost Breakdown (G/L Account Origin) (Report ID: FININVU12_Q0002).
4. Enter the required selection criteria.
5. Results show: No report data available to display; check the selection.

You enter the same selection criteria details to the report Material Cost Estimates - Cost Breakdown (Item Type) (Report ID: FININVU12_Q0001) and receive results. So you expect values to appear on the Material Cost Estimates - Cost Breakdown (G/L Account Origin) report also.

G/L Account (Origin) is not activated in Material Cost Estimates activity.

Changes are required in Business Configuration for the results to appear as expected.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the view Overview.
3. Search and find the activity Material Cost Estimates.
4. Select Choose Cost Breakdown Types link.
5. Select the active selection box for G/L Account (Origin).

Once you have completed the above changes, schedule a new Material Cost Estimate Rollup run.

Run the Material Cost Estimates - Cost Breakdown (G/L Account Origin) report again and results will display.
